Solaris
Fall 2025
For this semester-long themed entertainment design project, our team developed a themed land centered around a custom E-ticket attraction, complemented by a gift shop and themed food stand. Through collaborative work in story development, environmental design, ride and queue planning, and guest-flow strategy, we created a cohesive professional pitch that showcased how each element worked together to bring the land to life.

My primary role on the team was graphic designer and concept artist, where I created the project’s visual identity and brand system. This included designing logos for the land and its components, developing signage packages, establishing the branding and layout for our presentation materials, and contributing select pieces of concept art to help visualize key moments of the attraction and environment.
Graphic Design

The Solaris logo (created with Adobe Illustrator) blends elegant civic design with futuristic solar imagery to represent a bright, sustainable city powered
by innovation.

The Solaris palette uses fresh, vibrant tones to create a warm and uplifting visual identity, while the typography balances elegance and clarity for a polished, approachable feel.

The Solarwing SkyRace logo (created with Adobe Illustrator) was designed to stand apart from the city’s everyday branding, reflecting its role as a temporary annual event. Its neon-inspired palette draws from the aurora borealis, a major story element in the ride.

I applied our branding across a cohesive merchandise collection that brought the world of Solaris and the excitement of Solarwing SkyRace into tangible guest-facing products.

Process

I developed a rapid key art workflow using AI, Photoshop, and digital painting to create accurate visualizations of the experience. The ride vehicle concept was designed by fellow artist Courtney Brewer.

Process

Starting with a sketch created by Courtney Brewer, I used the same rapid AI and Photoshop workflow to create a fully editable and customizable file that accurately captures the original concept.
